West Bengal Federation of United Nations Association in collaboration with Acid Survivors and Women Welfare Foundation will be launching the campaign “Silence will not protect women” on Wednesday 29th May 2024 at 4:00 p.m. at ICCR (Indian Council for Cultural Relations), 9A Ho Chi Minh Sarani, Kankaria Estates, Kolkata 700071.
“Silence will not protect women” is very appropriate because in most cases violence against women, a united rebuke is not made and women suffer. Silence leading to more silence. The program will highlight the various initiatives taken by the authorities and other organisations to develop a road map to mitigate these challenges.
